Faculty Profile

SWARAN LATA MEENA is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics of the College since 2020. She worked in three more Colleges before joining this College. Her total teaching experience is of more than 8 years. Over the years, she has taught microeconomics, macroeconomics, Indian economy, etc. Her expertise is in the area of productivity and efficiency analysis of industrial organizations viz, firms, sectors, and industries.

SWARAN LATA has presented a paper at the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland on "Holistic Development of Women: The Government of India Initiatives". Also, she has coordinated a national seminar on “Globalization vs. Nationalism: The US-China Trade War and India” organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (University of Delhi). She has actively participated in national and international conferences, faculty development programmes, workshops, etc. She has co-authored a book titled "Principles of Microeconomics-II" for the Hindi medium students of B.A. (Prog.) at the University of Delhi.
