- Dr Nidhi Dureja received her B.Sc. degree from Kurukshetra University in 1995
- M.Sc. degree in Industrial Chemistry (Polymer Science) from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar in 1997.
- She did her PhD work at IIT Delhi and received the degree in Chemistry from Jamia-Milia-Islamia Delhi in 2006.
- From 2007-2011 she executed her young scientist project (DST) at IIT Delhi.
- She qualified CSIR-UGC LS (NET) twice.
