Worked as Research Associate in DEITY sponsored Project titled “Demonstration of LED by Pulsed Laser Deposition” under the supervision of Prof. R.P. Tandon at Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi

Areas of Specialization / Interest

Experimental Research Skills and Techniques used:

Ø  Fully acquainted with thin film deposition techniques (Sputtering, Pulse Laser Deposition, Thermal & E-Beam Deposition, Sol-gel) for various applications.

Ø  Handling and analysis of characterization techniques like X-Ray diffraction, Raman Spectroscopy, UV-Visible Spectrophotometry, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy, Piezo force  Microscopy, Transmission electron Microscopy and Keithley 4200 Semiconductor characterization unit.

Ø  Development and fabrication of MEMS based gas sensors (E-Nose), pressure sensors and micro-evaporators involving processes like Photolithography with Mask Aligner (MA-6), dicing (DISCO-DAD), oxidation (MRL) and wire bonding (West bond).

Ø  Fabricated Surface Wave Acoustic (SAW) devices and Microwave resonators for the wireless communication in frequency range of RF and Microwave for wireless communication and energy harvesting applications.

Ø  Worked on Surface Plasmon Resonance system for studying the optical properties of metals and dielectrics. Plasmonic effect is exploited for light harvesting applications.

Ø  Furthermore, I have sufficient knowledge of ferroelectric materials which can be used for photovoltaic applications. 

At present working on metal oxide Thin film based theromelectric materials for energy harvesting application.
